Gland Packing & Compression Packing

Kaybin supplies industrial gland packing and compression packing for pumps, valves and rotating equipment used in mining, petrochemical and heavy-duty applications across South Africa and Africa.

Selecting the correct packing grade is critical for leakage control, shaft sleeve protection and reduced maintenance downtime in abrasive slurry, steam valve and general process duties.

Material options include PTFE for chemical resistance, graphite for elevated temperature and steam service, aramid fibre for abrasive slurry and mining applications, and acrylic and high-temperature fibre grades for specialised duty.

Available by the box or per kilogram in various metric  sizes, with custom cross-sections manufactured to stuffing box dimensions.

Selection is based on shaft diameter, stuffing box depth, operating pressure, shaft speed, temperature range and media compatibility. Replacement gland packing, reverse engineering from worn samples and pre-cut ring sets are supported for maintenance and OEM applications across Africa.
