Kaybin manufactures custom gaskets from PTFE and engineering plastics to seal flanges, manifolds, covers, and precision-machined housings. Each gasket is cut or machined to your drawing or sample to deliver reliable sealing, chemical resistance, and surface protection in demanding industrial and OEM applications.

Function & Typical Applications

Seals flanged joints, covers, inspection plates, and manifolds

Provides a chemical-resistant, non-stick sealing surface between metal parts

Protects flange faces from scratching, fretting, and corrosion

Used on process lines, chemical dosing systems, food and beverage equipment, pump and valve interfaces, and custom OEM machinery

Material Options                                                                         We manufacture gaskets from:

PTFE (virgin and filled) – excellent chemical resistance, low friction, wide temperature range

Expanded / restructured PTFE – highly conformable for irregular or worn flange faces

Acetal / POM / Delrin – rigid, dimensionally stable gaskets for precision housings and manifolds

Polypropylene (PP) – cost-effective, chemically resistant option for compatible media

UHMWPE / HDPE – abrasion-resistant, low-friction gaskets for slurry and bulk-handling equipment

Nylon – tough gaskets where mechanical strength and wear resistance are required

Material and thickness are selected based on pressure, media, temperature, and flange condition.

Operating Conditions
Designed for:

Static sealing in bolted or clamped joints

Service in water, steam (within PTFE limits), chemicals, CIP/cleaning solutions, food and beverage products, and slurries (material-dependent)

Low to high pressures within the limits of the selected material and gasket design

Temperature and thermal cycling matched to the chosen polymer and installation torque

Engineering Details Required                                                          To specify the correct gasket, provide:

Gasket type: ring, full face, or custom profile

Flange or housing dimensions (or drawing): bolt circle, ID, OD, thickness

Process fluid, operating pressure, and temperature range

Flange surface condition (new, pitted, glass-lined, etc.) 

Any special requirements (e.g. FDA-compliant, non-stick, low-torque seating, colour or marking)
