Custom Polyurethane Rollers for Industrial Handling & Conveyor Systems

Kaybin designs and manufactures custom polyurethane (PU) rollers and urethane rollers where abrasion resistance, impact strength, shock absorption and low noise are critical. Each roller is built to your dimensions or sample, combining a strong steel, stainless, aluminium or engineering-plastic core with a high-performance PU tread for wear resistance, non-marking performance and reliable service in demanding production environments.

Function & Typical Applications

  • Carries and guides loads on conveyors, trolleys, bogies and material-handling systems
  • Reduces noise, vibration and floor or belt damage compared to steel rollers
  • Provides high grip, shock absorption and long wear life under repetitive loading
  • Suitable for factory conveyors, bottling and packaging lines, warehousing systems and OEM machinery

Material & Construction Options

  • Polyurethane (PU elastomer): high wear, tear and impact resistance; available in non-marking grades and hardness options matched to duty
  • Core materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminium or engineering-plastic cores depending on strength, corrosion and weight requirements
  • Bushes, sleeves & bearings: supplied according to the mounting method or shaft interface

PU tread hardness and formulation are selected to balance wear resistance, grip, low noise and non-marking performance for your application.

Operating Conditions

  • Medium to heavy loads with continuous or start–stop duty
  • Dry, wet or mildly abrasive operating environments
  • Applications where noise, impact and surface damage must be controlled
  • Temperatures and chemical exposure matched to the selected PU system and core material

Correctly specified polyurethane rollers help extend equipment life, improve handling quality and reduce maintenance downtime.

Engineering Details Required

To manufacture rollers accurately, provide:

  • Roller diameter, face width and overall width
  • Bore size and mounting detail (bearing, bush, keyway, shaft fit, etc.)
  • Load per roller and operating speed
  • Duty cycle (continuous, indexing, manual or powered movement)
  • Operating environment (wet/dry, cleaners, chemicals, temperature, indoor/outdoor)

Kaybin then selects the appropriate polyurethane grade and core design and manufactures rollers to your exact specification for industrial and OEM use.
