Valve Kits for Fast, Reliable Valve Refurbishment

Kaybin assembles custom valve kits so maintenance teams can rebuild valves quickly with all critical seals and plastic components in one package. Each kit is matched to your specific valve design and service conditions to reduce guesswork, downtime, and repeat failures in industrial and OEM applications.

Function & Typical Applications

Provides a complete set of parts needed to overhaul a valve

Ensures the correct seats, stem seals, O-rings, backup rings, guides, and wear parts are supplied together

Reduces ordering errors, wrong materials, and incomplete repairs

Used for ball valves, check valves, control valves, isolation valves, dosing valves, manifolds, and OEM valve assemblies in chemical, food & beverage, water treatment, mining, and general industry

Typical Kit Contents

Configured per valve type and service, kits may include:

Valve seats (PTFE / filled PTFE / POM, etc.)

Stem seals or packing rings

O-rings and backup rings

Guides, thrust washers, spacers, wear rings

Any special plastic or elastomer parts unique to your OEM design

Each kit is clearly labelled with valve type, size, and service.

Material Options

Kit components are manufactured from engineering plastics and elastomers selected for the valve’s duty:

PTFE (virgin and filled)

NBR, FKM, EPDM and other elastomers

Acetal / POM / Delrin

Nylon, UHMWPE, HDPE

Polypropylene (PP)

Materials are chosen based on media, pressure, temperature, cleaning regime, and regulatory requirements (e.g. food-contact).

Operating Conditions

Designed for valves handling:

Water, chemicals, fuels, gases, CIP/cleaning media, food & beverage products, and some slurries (material-dependent)

Low to high pressures within the limits of selected materials

Plants where planned maintenance, spares control, and repeatable performance are critical

Kaybin configures valve kits so every overhaul uses the same, proven combination of parts.

Engineering & Identification Details Required

To assemble the correct valve kit, provide:

Valve type, manufacturer, and model (if known)

Valve size, pressure class, and end connection type

Process fluid, operating pressure, and temperature range

Existing seat/seal materials (if known) or samples/photos

Any special requirements (FDA material, fire-safe trim, low-torque, etc.)

Kaybin then specifies the right components and assembles valve kits to your exact requirements for faster, more reliable valve maintenance across South Africa and Africa.
